Financial Management Service
This one-of-a-kind program assists with timely and accurate household bill paying. PSC works with the person, the bank and creditors. Social workers from throughout Philadelphia can make referrals to this program. Call (215) 546-5879 for more information.

Family Caregiver Support Program (FCSP)
FCSP is designed to deliver supportive services to caregivers that are caring for frail older relatives in their homes. The unique feature of FCSP is that the family caregiver is the focus. The goal of the program is to ease caregiver stress and burden by customizing caregiver assistance through family-centered benefits counseling, caregiver education, and limited financial assistance with the purchase of items and services needed to enhance the caregiver role. For more information call (215) 546-3065.

In-Home Support Program
The mission of the In-Home Support Program is to provide early intervention and prevention through a flexible, community-based approach. Some services that are offered to eligible homebound seniors (to be determined by a comprehensive assessment), are advocacy, home delivered meals, homemaker service (temporary) house cleaning, laundry assistance, minor home repairs, senior companions, adaptive equipment and transportation, and much more. There are five IHSP sites throughout the city of Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Senior Center covers the South Philadelphia area and the Center City area. For further information and/or referrals please call (215) 546-3065.

Services on Site (SOS)

Service Coordinators in Senior Housing The Services on Site (SOS) program of PSC offers senior housing residents a comprehensive array of health and supportive services with the goal of maintaining independence and dignity. Through a contract with PSC, building owners and/or management companies are provided with experienced service coordinators who provide services on site to building residents. SOS service coordinators provide links to community resources for transportation, health care, pre- and post-hospital needs, socialization, nutritional support, and mental health counseling. In addition to social services, PSC has a variety of ancillary services that the service coordinator has available to them to support the residents of the building. These services include a mini-bus for shopping and other outings, home support services to assist some residents with house keeping tasks, and access to PSC programs and services. SOS services are offered to building owners and managers who contract with PSC for quality assurance and service coordinators. For more information, call Becky Ledva at (215) 546-5879.
