HELP PSC FIGHT HUNGER BY SUPPORTING OUR
TEAM IN THE WALK AGAINST HUNGER

Help PSC Provide 70,000 Meals to 2,000+ Seniors Each Year

Saturday, April 10
Eakins Oval (Opposite the Philadelphia
Museum of Art, 26th Street and the Parkway)
8:00am - Check-in / Warm-up
9:30am - Kick-off / Walk
Until 12:30 – Party

Each year, PSC serves 70,000+ meals that cost approximately $466,000 to prepare and serve. While PSC requests a voluntary contribution of $1.25 for a meal that can cost $5-7, we receive an average donation of actually $.79 per meal back. This leaves a $103,000 shortfall in our meal program. PSC asks for your help so we can maintain this critical program to ensure that PSC remains one of the city’s premier feeding programs for older adults.

PSC receives 80% of donations raised! PSC’s beneficiary number is 120. We seek individuals to walk; donors to sponsor walkers; companies, churches and community groups to form teams for PSC; and volunteers to sign-up other walkers. Whether you can walk a mile or all three miles, we need your help! Donations to sponsor “Team PSC” can be sent to: PSC, Walk Against Hunger, 509 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147.
